Vocal Light License and Apple Standard EULA Notice
Effective date: July 16, 2026 Last updated: July 16, 2026 Version: apple-license-notice-2026-07-16-v1
1. Apple Standard EULA applies
Vocal Light is distributed through Apple’s App Store and is licensed, not sold.
Unless Vocal Light’s App Store listing identifies a custom end-user license agreement, Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (“Apple Standard EULA”) governs the App Store license:
Apple Licensed Application End User License Agreement
2. Supplemental agreements
The Vocal Light Terms of Use and the separate Liability Waiver, Assumption of Risk, Release, and Covenant Not to Sue supplement the Apple Standard EULA. They address matters specific to Vocal Light, including:
- Adult eligibility and United States-only use;
- Singing and playback safety;
- Estimated and potentially inaccurate App output;
- On-device microphone and privacy practices;
- Assumption of risk and release of defined ordinary-negligence claims where lawful; and
- Additional warranty and liability provisions.
If an irreconcilable conflict concerns the scope of the App Store license, the Apple Standard EULA controls. Otherwise, the supplemental Vocal Light agreements apply to the relationship between you and Vocal Light to the maximum extent permitted by law.
3. Ownership and restrictions
Vocal Light and its licensors retain all rights not expressly granted under the Apple Standard EULA and the Terms of Use. Third-party and open-source materials remain subject to their own license terms, which are available in the App’s Legal & Privacy screen.
4. Apple is not the provider
Mark Marez, doing business as Vocal Light, and not Apple, is responsible for Vocal Light and its content, subject to the allocation of responsibility in the Apple Standard EULA and applicable law.
Use Apple’s channels for App Store billing, download, and Apple-platform support issues. Use Vocal Light’s Support page linked from its App Store listing for App-specific support, privacy requests, and legal notices.
5. Changes
If Vocal Light later adopts a custom EULA or materially changes its licensing model, the updated license and related agreements will be made available with any additional notice or assent required by applicable law.
